GREGORY JBARA - Mr. Jbara attended The University of Michigan from 1979 to 1982 and gained his BFA in acting from The Juilliard School in 1986.  He is currently most recognizable as “DCPI Garrett Moore” on the hit CBS police drama Blue Bloods now celebrating it’s eighth season.  On Broadway Mr. Jbara won the 2009 Tony Award®, Drama Desk Award® and Outer Critics Circle Award® for Best/Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance as Billy’s Dad, ‘Jackie Elliot’ in Billy Elliot the musical .  Mr. Jbara also originated the roles of 'André Thibault' in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels  with John Lithgow for which Jbara received a Drama Desk® Nomination, 'Squash Bernstein' in Victor/Victoria  with Julie Andrews and 'Sohovik' in the 1994 revival of Damn Yankees! with Victor Garber, Bebe Neuwirth and Jerry Lewis.  In 1997 Mr. Jbara was the second actor to star as 'Billy Flynn' in the Tony Award winning revival of Chicago with Marilu Henner, Bebe Neuwirth and Joel Grey.  Mr. Jbara has numerous LA Theatre credits and numerous TV recurring roles on top shows, spanding his 30 years in acting. Born and raised in the Detroit suburb of Westland, Michigan, Mr. Jbara now resides in Los Angeles with his wife Julie and sons Zachary and Aidan. View full bio and credits at
