An evening honoring Ambassador Martin Dahinden and Martin Naville

MARTIN WERNER DAHINDEN –

Martin Werner Dahinden has been appointed as Ambassador of Switzerland to the United States of America in 2014. Prior to that, he served as Director of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) from 2008 to 2014 and headed the Directorate of Corporate Management of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) from 2004 to 2008.

During his long career in the Swiss diplomatic service. Martin Dahinden has served in Geneva, in Paris, in Nigeria, in New York to name a few.

Martin was born in Zurich, holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Zurich. He is married to his lovely wife, Anita, and they have two children.

MARTIN NAVILLE -

Since 2004, Martin has been the CEO of the Swiss- American Chamber of Commerce. Previously Martin spent 16 years with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Munich, Zurich and New York, since 1995 as a partner.

Martin Naville started his professional career in 1984 as a corporate banker with JP Morgan in Zurich and New York, and holds a Masters Degree in law from the University of Zurich. He is Chairman of the Zurich Zoo AG and Member of the Board at Swissquote and Lombard International in Luxembourg.
